I'v never liked compensators... You can always hear them adjusting the pitch if your sustaining either F# while adding or releasing the pedal that works your compensator... I tune my F#'s to the open B, 5th string and adjust the pedals down pitch with a slight bar slant or vibrato... Maybe someone could invent a right elbow lever just for the compensators???
