Lloyd played on some of the earlier Dale Watson recordings. You can't go wrong there.

Lloyd did an awesome set at the Dallas steel show year before last - and was playing a Black Mullen SD10 RP I think it was ... it was the best sounding Mullen all weekend

Check out Joe Ely's 2nd albumn "Honkytonk Masquerade" This is some of the best steel work from the era and one of my favorite albumns. I believe it was about 1978

' Honky Tonk Masquerade' is great as well as the self titled first Joe Ely album. Lloyd rules on them both.

Another great recording is Robert Earl Keen's live album, 'No. 2 Live Dinner', great jam with Lyoyd on 'The Road goes on Forever'

Also check out Wayne Hancock's early albums which Lloyd played on and produced, Herb Steiner and other great players are on them also.

Enjoy!
