The first album I ever purchased by Buck Owens was an album titled..."On the Bandstand"....the cover pictured Jay McDonald on steel, playing a double neck Fender. Yes......Jay McDonald was before Tom, and he had a great style of playing.....the Album features Jay on an instrumental of "Release Me"...Great job, he did, on that song.....GW.
