Wayne, we will miss you at this one. Thanks for playing at our first one. We really appreciated you and David Alexander coming from Oklahoma. I sure would like to see more players from the Southern Oklahoma area coming to these. We will have one at your place if you are interested in hosting one of our gatherings. Do you still own the Motel and Restaurant in Tish?
Send us some pictures of the OSGA meeting if you are going to take any pictures.

Hey Mark, and all who will be coming to the NTX & S-OK steel guitar gathering this coming Sunday, @ 2pm, 11/20....there will be lots of "goodies"...homemade cookies etc to munch on plus soft drinks & water. Hope we'll have a goodly number of pickers there. I think the Denton County Cowboy Church Band will be there but anyone who can back a steel player..bass, drums, rhythm, lead, fiddle, will be appreciated, so come on down (or up) to 400 Robinson Road, Ponder Texas, church home of the Denton County Cowboy Church. Feel free to call me on my cell (940)368-1580 or home @ (940)240-0140.
I'm looking forward to hearing some good picking, and I plan to steel (steal) every lick I can!!

Monty, Bobby Stout, who lined up the facility for us told me about the goodies. It sure is not expected but it is such a gracious offer. There are some good folks and cooks that go to church there. I have enjoyed eating some of their cooking a couple of time when I filled in for you. I am so excited to jam again and see the guys I met before and hope to make some new friends.

Thanks Paul!! I want to also mention to everyone who is bringing an instrumemt or amp to park on the south side of the building, near the rear. You will see the door there which will put you near the stage when you enter. My white Montana (Pontiac) SUV will be parked nearby that door.

Mickey, I didn't think you were going to be able to make it. That is good news that you will be able to be with us. Bring whatever you have that you want to sell, such as your lesson materials, guitars, etc. I will make a section for "FOR SALE ITEMS." Everyone is invited to do that.
See you there.
Monty is going to be a wonderful host, and we are grateful to Monty Montgomery and Bobby Stout.

Just wanted to let some of you know that David Wright will not be able to make it to this gathering. He will be at Maurice Anderson's home for an MSA get together of some sort, but hopefully we will get him next time. Jackie Harmon will be coming with Tilley. We appreciate that. We should have a pretty good turn-out.
Let's have some fun, and I will see you guys in Ponder, Texas.
