Jerry and the rest of the great Georgia players, thanks for the opportunity for this old guy to be a part of a program that extends help to those in desperate needs.
Best wishes for your hard work and dedication.

Bill, are you making fun of my shuffle and foggy voice? Maybe it's when I keep asking,"What did you say"? Hee Haw!

Jerry I think it is closento 300 miles from my house to Atlanta, we are leaving about 5:00, should be there on time, if not put my friend Jack Conyer up 1st, he is a great one to start a show. We spent last week here in fl. together, and went to the fl. club jam , they loved him down there.

New directions from Jerry are up on the GaSGA website.

Tommy Dodd, I'm requesting "Highway 40 Blues". Ya gotta play it this time--I have all these people here as public witness that I'll be really disappointed if you don't. Besides, if you play it, I won't mention that you sometimes look like a big scoop of bubblegum ice cream. Oops! Did I just say that!?... Image

Just two more weeks! Our friend Jerry always makes us feel special and does a first class job with his shows. On top of that, 100% of the take goes to the Shriner's hospital. There is no better way to have a good time and help the kids at the same time. Thanks, Jerry.

New? '77? Hmm... Image I'm going to need to ponder that one a while.

This is going to be great!

By the way, the GaSGA website now has member applications available to download from online. If you aren't a current member but would like to be, go to http://www.georgiasteelguitar.com/membership.html and download an application. You can fill it out ahead of time and hand it to Donna or one of the GaSGA staff at the door. So easy!

Russ you are right about the Fl. gang Larry Danley is comming up from Winter Haven with his motor home and we are comming with it full of folk.
Larry is a great player he has had lessons from , Reece anderson, Jeff Newman, Herbie Wallace, and others and does not know how good he is, to bad Jerry is full up Larry is a great friend of mine, and you and Laney know how I love my friends.
David and I drove over to Jacksonville tonight to Sun Country practice and did a couple songs for them, their poor ears.
Russ I plan to come for Sat. in Lakeland, you know I cannot miss a hug from laney when she is that close.

Thanks guys for all the great response. We are looking forward to having a good time. There is nothing like getting together with friends and doing something that you all enjoy. Music is the best way I know of to bring friends together. There is no way people can get mad at each other when good music is happening. Russ and Laney you will be missed at this show, sorry you can't make it. Maybe next year. We have player from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and South Carolina represented in this show. One week from Sunday starting promply at 10:0'clock will be the start of the Third Annual Northwest Georgia Steel Guitar Show. We have a full day with twenty player slated to play. If I thought I could get enough player and support we would do this two day. We may think about that next year. Looking forward to seeing all of you.

Thanks for your support

Charlie, I hate that you will not be there. I enjoy listening to you play and don't get the opportunity to hear you very often. If by chance it works out that you can make it we would love to see you. If I can help you at any time let me know. Yo Friend.

Jim, I'm afraid I have no control over the weather. But I will say a prayer that we have good weather and a good turn out for our show. I am in the stages of getting all the food and the like together. We again will have Hot Home Made Vegetable Beef Soup with plain cornbread and cracklin cornbread, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chili Sause for Hot Dogs, Soft Drinks, Coffee and Water. Maybe a Home Made Chocolate Cake. Be careful as you travel. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Show this coming Sunday.

Jerry, I tried to email you, but it came back and wouldn't go through. I was just checking to see if you had an opening for the show Sunday. I don't have anything booked and would like to come down if possible.

Thanks,

Herby Wallace
