Jody, my best to you and Marilyn.

The PSGA show is a friendly intimate show with the best steel players, anywhere. Well hosted and organized. Mike Gross is one of the most knowledgable MCs and the huge video screen is a great plus.

Don't miss the Saturday evening jam session!

Looks like another great one, with lots of the regular heavyweights and a couple of 'newbies' (for this show) David Wright and Mike Sweeney...these two are worth the admission price. Ya'll have a goodun'.

David..

As of now Fessenden, GFI and players representing MSA and Sierra will have products on display and will answer all questions related to what the manufacturer offers. (Yes, Sierra is back in business as stated on this forum).

David,

I will be representing Mullen steel guitars at the show. I will have my guitar there if you would like to check it out as well as Mullen literature. I have been playing and selling Mullen steel guitars for over 20 years. I hope to see you there.

This is a great show. Bob, is there a time each day when all the people present who are Forum members could be recognized? Maybe you could put "Forum Member" on the name tags when we register each day. Just a thought... It will be a great show, y'all come!

Larry, We have a whole new badge system this year. There is NO provision to add anything to it, but we have left room for attendees to write their name on the badge. If you'd like to stand at the door and advise those forum members to write "Forum" on their badge that would be OK. We don't have the staff or resources to do that. I'll ask our MC Mike Gross, to make an announcement as time permits.

Herby, I apologize for not mentioning Mullen. Purely an oversight on my part. Judging from the hotel reservation list for our group, it looks like another good turnout.

Are the vendors "inside" or "outside" of the perfomance area at this event?

Thanks,

Last year's show was the first PSG show I attended. I hadn't started playing yet at the time. I ended up buying a GFI through meeting Gene at the show. It will be an interesting experience this year after having played a little. I'll be attending Chuck's class also. Hopefully, I'll be meeting some of you over the weekend.

Make sure you stop at the PSGA table and introduce yourself. It's always a great feeling to meet the people, who support our shows.

Just one more thing....
Y'all be sure to stop by the David Wrigh/MSA booth during the show. You'll see the prettiest, baddest, sweetest Steel Guitar you've ever seen! I can say that even though it's mine because it's true! I'm also bringing a couple of my CDs and few of my steel instruction course. Brisk sales will send the CD aluminum and I know you won't want to miss that big event! So come on by and you'll be able to tell all of your friends about it!

Looking forward to wearing a warm coat because I need it and not because it's November,
David Wright

Yup! David Wright you are correct on all points. We are all looking forward to seeing the MSA close-up and yes, the #WX guys are predicting a cold weekend with clear skies, so bring your top coat along! Typical New England Fall weather. As a steel player of more years than I care to remember, I can truthfully say your adrenellin will be keyed and a fine time will be enjoyed by all, with a bit of a nip in the unpoluted Connecticut air.

C U there in 2 days!
