Bill,
I used the Mojo chassis. The main, cap and bias board as well as the faceplate are also Mojo.

Thanks for the complement. I try to keep it as tidy as possible.

Looks good Rich!

Careful with the soldering iron around those mallory caps - even a little ding will destroy them (learned this the hard way once!)

I prefer the orange drops to the mallory caps, especially in the PI but I use neither. I use Jupiter Condensers for everything.

I have what is purported to be an earlier Deluxe Mojo chassis (used) that I have cleaned up for my next build, (AA964 Vibrolux), but it has the upper rear turned out, with a couple of holes in it. I was told to use a Mojo rear plate. Nice to know that they make them more like the originals now.

Ken, this looks awesome. Can you comment on the difference (sound-wise) between the 225 and 716 series caps?

They are a bit warmer to my ear. Brad Sarno turned us on to these. Supposedly made in the same factory as the old blue caps in the Silverface era amps.

Tim et al,

Speaking of caps. I'm doing a DR right now for a customer. I built the main board last night (I used Orange Drops) and decieded to build the filter board before bed time.

I test all components before assembly and low and behold I found a bad 16/475 Sprague Atom! Dead shorted, zero capacitance. This is a brand new cap right out of the bag, no physical damage.

Man am I glad I test everything before it gets soldered in place. That could have been ugly.
