Tom is the man of Steel -- Aaron the author of this topic just purchased a D-10 steel from me and Tom offered to be the middle man to make sure Aaron got what the guitar was or as advertised -- and Tom handled the transaction for me -- It don’t get better than that .

Tom you Da man --- and Aaron , Im sure you will get many many years out of the D10

I don't know about all of this. I've bought a couple of pots off him -- they're clean and smooth, delivery was quick, but he said they'd make me play like Buddy Emmons and so far that hasn't kicked in ...

I have purchased fretboards form Tom on 2 or 3 occasions. He always shipped the boards before I sent my check. One that I had bought for a resonator guitar had a tiny corner chipped off. Tom offered to replace it but as I had to cut off a fret or two anyway to clear the coverplate I was able to use it as it was.

I'd heard of Tom from my beginnings in steel guitar. Over 40 years ago. He is truly a living legend and deserves the title.
As for being a kind and generous person, Tom deserves that title as well.
Tom took time out of his schedule to not only nominate me for the Hall of Fame, but to also spend countless hours preparing, assembling and editing my bio/credentials to be submitted to the Hall of Fame. I'll always be grateful to Tom and consider him friend. :)

Tom and I did some swapping of PSG parts, and he was more than fair with me. Also fun to communicate with.

Tom is a great fellow.I talked to him last week and he told me I bought the last knee lever kit he was going to make.Just can't get the parts anymore. He said he had to make the parts himself.I was working on a steel and ordered some parts from him,and they just showed up in the mail the first time I ever did bussiness with him.My hats off Tom.Thanks Elbo

Add me to the list of steelers who appreciate Tom Bradshaw and all he does for us. He is my "go-to" man for the best volume-pedal pots in the known universe!

In Australia we'd call Tom a "national living treasure" because that's precisely what he is. :D

I've known Tom since his sponsoring of the Newman seminars in '76 in Concord. He is a wonderful man who gives to the steel guitar community out of pure love for the instrument and is a definite treasure!!!

My buddy Dave Arnold and I are restoring old MSA S-12s. We've been ordering parts from Tom, who jokingly referred to us both as "wild and crazy steelers." Tom hand made adjustable return spring brackets for us, named a price... then promptly lowered it. As others have said, he'll send your order whether or not he has received payment. Tom has thrown modern business theory out the window, preferring to stick to the "steel guitar family" approach he's used for decades. Hopefully the trust and respect he's selflessly offered over the years has been returned to him in spades. God bless you, sir.

Hi Tom,

Now that you've been anointed a living legend, can we start the canonization process? Saint Tom, Patron to the steel masses. Kinda has a nice ring to it....

Good to see you getting some props, and everything that's been said is true. Just goes to show that every now and then it actually pays to be a nice guy.

Take care buddy,
Joe

I'm a huge fan of Tom's also. Got the newsletters, magazines, Records from record club and even bought the Emmons four cassette and book course. I lost one cassette and asked what it would cost to replace it and Tom just went ahead and sent one, no cost. Found memories of trucking grain from the combine and when waiting for a hopper would have one of those shiny MSA brochures to dream about. Ah those were the days! Thanks Tom!!!

Tom is truely a gentleman and someone that has been involved with the Steel Guitar for a long, long time. He is one of very few that will send something to you with only a verbal committment. That indeed is a one of a kind situation is this day and age. Thanks Tom for all that you have done and are doing.

Much of Tom's credit is due to me doing his hair,
Where would he be without this artistic touch?
I put his career where it is today!
