Paddy, it's a CD player I use for my backing tracks. I guess it makes me a one man band (sorta)
It has a remote control so I don't really have to have it too close as long as all I have to do is change tracks.
Thanks for your interest, much appreciated.

I like it small and light. My trusty old
BOSS SE70 got everything a need, nice EQ and good reverbs. The power supply is in the bottom of the rack because I hate it lying on the stage floor.
My Dad built me the very light costum 9.5" rack.

Here is my rack, speakers and steel.
I use a 12" Black Widow on one side and a 15" Black Widow on the other side. The 12" is ported and the 15" has a door to be opened or closed back. I set the 15" on the floor and the 12" on a stand. The speakers are usually 8 feet apart. ( I stacked them for the picture)
The speakers weight 21 and 23 pounds and the rack weighs a total of 34 pounds.
I use 20' #12 speaker cables so that adds a little, the tuner weighs 9 pounds, more than the Telonics. My rack is a Telonics, exactly the same of David's.

Paddy,
I have a pair of Australian boots, but they are too big to play in so I have to have a pair of shoes just for steel. And the boots will not fit under the seat anyway.

Not much rack left, but its a start on a steel rig.
Ive had this gear for decades (and it looks like it).
Used to use a Korg A2, a Korg tuner and this amp for guitar.
Replaced the scratchy volume pots in the amp recently.
Sounds great with the SPX90 reverb for steel.
Miss that big rack tuner and the A2 though.

Clete you should investigate the Peterson Stroborack tuner mate -- they are spot on ...you will see them in several photos above !
