I don't know what kind is on my 92 LG2, but some are stiff to turn. Tried a drop of lube but did not help. Don't see a name on them. Steel stays in tune great. Jack

Rusty,My 33 year old Zumsteel D10 has Sperzels on it. Never had a problem, stays in tune. Bought the guitar 5 years ago from Scotty's,I assume they are originals Bob
