I have my Motel reservations at the Holiday Inn.If I remember right the other Motel was not that clean when we went there last year.A'm I right Ray you remember that one don't you.Any way I'll be there and i think I might be able to control that Volume pedal Vibrodo.I took a little advise from Skip Mertz and put a 9 volt Battery under the back of it and it works.I think I'm comming along now.I will also be going to the beginners seminar that Clyde Maddocks is going to have in Wilson the 15th of next month.

Hi Sam and Folks:
Both of these Motels are new to the MASGA and were not used before or have they ever been requested to submit special rates. Both of these motels are own by the same person/corp and both are very nice motels,

Thanks

Good Sunday Morning to you all.I don't know who reads the Exstended Family on the forum but Bob Hayes has been in real bad shape. They think he has a reaction from his new medication.I think all the MASGA members should go on the Exstended thread of the forum and talk to his wife Diane she is a wonderful caring woman.Tell her that we are all thinking of her and our prayers are out there for her and Bob.Bob has a couple of Grand Children that he and Diane sort of adopted and I give then all the credit in the world for that.Bob and Diane do not have it easy like a lot of us do so E-Mial them. If you check the Exstended Family you will see where Pat Jenkins gave his room Number so you can call the VA hospital or send him a card.

Well I am looking forward to the trip up to Pelham. Was debating making the trip or stay put and get more work done and I decided that all work and no play would only make Ray a dull little boy Image. I will also have a full compliment of Walker Seats for your viewing and purchase. I'll also have a friend with me for the day...Johnny Mac who is lead vocalist in our band. Perhaps we can use him a little. I am looking forward to this trip. It's a time to see friends that we don't get to hang around with for various reasons. Some live here and some live there and these jams serve to bring us together for a little fun together. I am a true believer that you can learn something new from just about any player no matter what his or her skill levels are and I would urge you all to pay some attention to the players and ask them "what" they did later in a certain song or better than that "show" you what they did. Kenny Dail I don't know if you will make it to Pelham but if not I want to set up a little time between us....cause you sure got lots of licks I want to steel Image I enjoyed the time I spent with you the other week. See you all there.

PS

Just got an e-mail from Tommy White telling me to check out the Opry this weekend and see how the Walker Seat looks under his butt. John Hughey has also advised me that his Walker Seat is making the grade for him as well. Folks I have made a seat good enough for the Professional Players and I would appreciate you giving it a try as well. Anyone wanting to "try" before you buy can just ask and I'll set one up for you with your steel. Thanks

Hey Folks:
Don't mess out on this great event. The weather looks like it is going to be great and I can assure you the music will be fantastic.
I have to head out to Salisbury Md. today to attend a family funeral but will be back Friday just in time for the Jam.
I am looking forward to a great Jam!

Buy the Way!!! Our local Newspaper is doing a Major article with pictures about the Pelham Jam and the MASGA. I know this will help introduce more folks to the steelguitar and let them all know what is going on in the Steelguitar World. I am hoping to have more folks come out and enjoy the wonderful music and meet all the great folks in the MASGA.

Regards
