I play a singleneck Jackson Blackjack Custom SD-10 and it's a wonderful guitar. Built by Shot Jackson's sons, Jackson Steel Guitars are wonderful steel guitars in every way-tone is wonderful, playability is amazing, pedal action is smooth-everything about the Jackson Steel is awesome!

Yeah, mine. I play a Carter Starter and I am very pleased
with it
Seriously, mine is the best to me, but, I know that the
collective wisdom these great players will lead you in the
right direction, if you are looking for one.

Just razzin, I wish you the best finding the good ones.

Emmons made an S10 push pull that sounds very good. I had a bolt-on that sounded great. I do wish I had kept it.

Hei Alex

I have a single neck guitar from PROMAT and since you are searching for one you should definitely take a look at PROMAT guitars.

Here is a web link to their site:

http://www.promatsteelguitars.com/

I got a brand new S-10 PROMAT made by mr. Papič and guitar is absolutely fantastic. I was having opportunity to try out some other guitars but for now there is not one out there fitting better to me.

When you play a PROMAT you will notice difference in ton, sustain and to me much important subject of a pedal steel - response of pedals and levers which is corect and sensitive. Promat is great...

Here you have some pictures of my guitar:
