New Lisbon, WI Thur & Fri, then Galesville, WI on Sat. Lawrenceville, GA on Tue 9/16. Those are my last with Johnny Lee as I'm heading back to work with Rodney Hayden. His new Album is being released today on Audium Records and he's firing back up after being off since spring......

Pat, I'll be pickin at the Brunswick Eagles this Saturday which is about a 30 minute drive to the Hagerstown Speedway. What band are you pickin with? I just might come out and steel some of your licks before I go on at 9 to entertain the health out of everyone!

I,ll be playing at the Southern Ohio Opry @ 7pm this sat the 13 on rt 348 Lucasville Ohio.This week I will be presenting a painting done by our own Billy Robinson to the opry for every one to enjoy,Billy can paint equal to his playing abilities,and his art work is musical related and will fit right in on the wall at the Southern Ohio Opry.So Billy if your ears are ringin this weekend it,s because you deserve it!!!!!!!!11.[This message was edited by Bob Cox on 11 September 2003 at 02:06 PM.]

Last night was 5-7 at the Saxon Pub with James Hand, then 9-1 at the Little Longhorn with James.

Tonight at the Broken Spoke with James Hand.

Saturday at Blaine's in San Angelo with Johnny Bush.

Sunday 9:30-10:30 at the Continental Club with James Hand.

Herb, I love James Hand. He's like Dale, except more Hankish. Gary Carpenter played some cool stuff on his CD. Does JH live in Austin now? He used to live in a trailer outside Tokyo Tx (by Carl's Corner). Sounds like a great gig.

Yeah, James is the real deal, like Dale. I'm fond of this band because Pete Mitchell is the lead guitarist, BB Morse plays upright, and Wooz plays snare/high hat. Excellent combo of pickers. James still officially lives with his dad in Tokio, but a bunch of friends and his ex-wife live here so he's got lots of places to stay. Which is needed since we're working an average of 3-4 gigs a week.

Blaine's with Bush... or with anyone... is also one of my favorites joints as well. Of course, since it's party headquarters for the Concho region!

Good pickin' at the Spoke tonight, man. Brian H. came out last night, but I didn't get a chance to yak with him.

It's the only place in the world where the dancer's feet never touch the floor. Nice stage, too!
