I was disappointed with the first pair that I bought. They tore up after about 2 blocks of plodding through the recent ice and snow. But, Susan was really nice about replacing them. She sent 2 replacement pairs by priority mail. Now, all is well... Great warranty.

I have questions:
First is it true that the black bags sound the best?
Do you really need Scotch or will Jim Beam work?
Do you need picks or can you put them on without them?
And last but not least does Ken Fox possibly have a mod for them?
