A very natural, understated performance. I think it sounds like she got up on stage and sang a song she loves, isn't that what country music is about? I'm not saying the vocal "grabbed" me like some do, but a heartfelt song will always be welcome here.
Some of my favorite recordings feature vocals that if done today, in front of the wrong producer (or engineer for that matter) would surely cause the old autotune demon to get patched in to "keep things from getting pitchy". That's also one of the reasons I love steel, the spaces between the notes add some humanity. I'm not saying anyone has to like or dislike the vocal performance. I agree, it's just a matter of taste, but it sort of made me take stock of how "keyboard" like so many vocals sound today.......but I digest.
