There's another party across the alley tonight. I hear some really great button accordion and bajo sexto. Two and three part harmony singing...

Linda Ronstadt made a record called "Mas Canciones".
Here's a song called "Palomita De Ojos Negros":

Conjunto (Cantina Music - Part 1)

Inspiring, even jazzy, bajo playing going on there. (If you're impatient, listen from the minute to minute-and-a-half mark and for a minute starting around 3:47.)
. . . Conjunto music is kind of country in Spanish. —from the documentary linked at the top
Ha! No wonder I like it.

I wonder if I should grab my reso and join them...
¡Sí! A 12 pack of Modelo Especial (if you're so inclined) probably wouldn't be unwelcome, either. Don't be surprised if you gain new friends and a nickname along the lines of "El Guero Musiquero".

Smoked pork tacos with cilantro, onion, and green chile.

Just yesterday, I barged over to neighbor Manuel's, and he let me pick a pocketful of petite-but-potent chile piquin from his backyard. Roasted and blended with garlic, tomatillo, and a few other things, the chiles yield a complex, compellingly delicious Texican Napalm for tacos. It's good to be on good terms with the neighbors.

Thanks for posting that link. I really enjoyed the video. Lots of that kind of pickin' going on down here.

These guys are Bud Light drinkers! They might like the Modelo, though.

Next time you get some piquin's from your neighbor, plant a few in your back yard. They'll grow just about anywhere. The mockingbirds love them and they "plant" the seeds along fences. A lot of folks pull them up, thinking they're weeds. I like that term, Texican Napalm. Those little babies are quite "pica". I have friends that eat them like candy. I don't know how they do it.

Yep–the transplants are in and thriving. Nothing like delicious nutrition that will grow unattended in the backyard . . . and set your face on fire . . . in a good way.

Max Baca (bajo sexto) and his Texmaniacs certainly have it going on: "Ando Buscando un Amor"/"El Troquero" Medley - Live.

(Wanna talk about bajo sexto tone?)
