Buddy Emmons on the Roger Miller album 'Trip in the Country' "Nothing can stop my lovin' you."
Gordon Huntley on "Woodstock" and Rod King on "Jennifer Eccles"
The solo on "You'd Better Think Twice" is pretty smart..

"Look At Us" Vince Gill - John Hughey.

I attended a Vince Gill concert in Turlock, California in 1998. I sat in the 10th row directly in front of John. About half way through the show Vince introduced John Hughey as the man responsible for "Look At Us" being a hit song. John kicked it off to a standing ovation. I stood for the rest of the show. From that night on I just knew I had to be a steel player. Now days the steel guitar is a very big part of my life and I owe it all to John and Vince.

There is truly a lot of great songs that have steel guitar in them, that it's hard to name just one.
