On the way...

As a complete newbie to the forum, I feel I can say that it's remarkable to find an online community that's so kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. And that has so many legends of the instrument participating with us hackers! The Forum is a real treasure.

Put that check book away Bob! $50 PayPal to you. I owe all of my newbie PSG experience and information to this great on line forum and its helpful members! I like the idea of annual dues from forum members to keep this thing alive as talked about in the Steel Players thread on this subject. I've paid a whole lot more for a whole lot less information elsewhere!

WOW! What a great response! There's already been enough coming in on PayPal to get over the immediate crisis, and from what I'm reading we'll have no trouble making next month's Internet bill.

Thanks, everyone, for your enthusiastic support. Image Image

I just ordered Buddy's "rainbow" CD from the Forum Catalog. I sent $50 and told b0b to keep the change. The Forum is wonderful and I never want to see it go away!

Salute to b0b!

Don't fear. The Forum can't go under as long as I am gainfully employed. The T1 connection is on a 3-year contract with Qwest, that started in January. I'm not going to reneg on that contract.

I'm happy to say that the PayPal response has been just great! It instantly removed a month-long worry from my mind. Donations are ranging from $5 to $100 each! This is a great help.

Thanks, everyone!
