Lots of power
Lots of speaker cone area
Lots of knobs to switch and tweak (and/or DSP parameters to navigate)

Re- read Herb Steiner's post then consider this. I worked with a Tele picker many times. Sometimes he had Evans, Webb and three different Peaveys - a NV400, a Vegas 400 and a Session 400. He got exactly the same great sound out of each one. If you are planning to play both guitar and steel then the Vegas is the one because is has two channels but you need to have a strong back. I just sold a Vegas and ordered another NV112.

I have been taking lessons for about 3 months. All of my playing at this time is in my living room, but as i get better i hope to play with a local country western band that meets in our church on sat. nites.
i am getting a new desert rose next month. my favorite music to play is country western. Looks like most everybody has a high opinion of the nashville 112. Hope to get one soon, at present i have a fender champion 300.
Thanks; Frank :)
Frank, the NV112 is a good amp from what I gather, I play stereo.and for years I played through 2 Nashville 400 amps. And that's what threw my Shoulder out. I now play through the GD Walker Stereo Steel System. The head weigh around 20 lbs and the speakers weigh around 30 and is so easy to carry. Nothing against Peavy or Fender. The head consists of the power amp and the effects rig, and the cabinets contain the JBL 15 inch speakers. The sound is sweet and warm. But Bama Charlie is right. Shop around and find out what is best for you and the type of music you plan on doing.
