Johnny Paycheck, Lloyd Green and Aubrey Mayhew developed a sound with an edge that could cut glass. Their "Little Darlin'" sounds pushed the limits of country to the honky-tonkin' edge of rock and roll. Put 'em all in there! (Hall of Fame)

We need 1,000,000,000 and this would surely get (Johnny Paycheck) him in.I don't think Keith Whitley's gonna make it in. With all that Nashville power on this Forum it could be done from there.

Leonard Bick wrote:Jonathan Paycheck, Johnny Paycheck's son, sent me an online petition to sign, regarding Paycheck for Country Music Hall of Fame consideration. He's trying to get as many signatures as possible, so he asked me to spread the word. Johnny Paycheck was a great singer and had numerous hits, including Old Violin & Take This Job and Shove It, which ended up becoming every workers' national anthem. As most of you know, John loved and used to play "steel guitar".
Jonathan is a fine young man, well mannered and very respectful. He would travel on the road with his dad, during the summer months, while school was out. Right now, he's serving our country, in the U.S. Army, flying Blackhawk helicopters. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...
Those among us who care and feel strongly about this need to copy and paste the above quote and email it to our friends and family that we feel would probably sign the petition, but don't frequent the Steel Guitar Forum.

I'm #515.
I don't care much for Halls of Fame, but if there's going to be one, it might as well make sense!!!
How is it possible Paycheck isn't in there already???!!!
