Guitar headset amplifier

Boss has a new tuner/metronome/headphone amp, the TU-88, that might be a good onstage headphone amp solution. Anyone tried it out yet? I doubt I'd use the metronome, it sounds super cheezy, but a tuner/headphone amp combo in a small size would be great. You can mix in an outside source (iPod, etc.), too, which is mandatory for my needs.

I've been thinking the Tascam mp-gt1 gizmo might be great, but it sure gets lousy reviews for dependability at harmony central, and they say the slowed down sound is pretty warbly. Oh well.
