Mac, how many 'standard' guitars did Bunny build? Is there a model name to this one, and were there other models? What years were they made? Thanx.

I believe it to be a Teisco.
I have a 6 string that looks like this.

Check out the back side of the headstock. Mine has a screwed on metal tag that says "Steel Guiter". a misspelled word.

Hi John,

not sure on pronounciation to be sure! Mine doesn't have 2 dots over the 'U' neither on the guitar or the guarantee. (please see link on previous page for photos) Have you heard of the make before?

I have not heard of this make before. My attempt at the name's possible pronunciation was based on Mac's quote, "He wanted a name that was intrigueing and chose Ludwig with 2 dots above the U to make it continental and avoid infringeing copyright." The "2 dots" I figured were the German umlaut. And in German, a "w" is pronounced as a "v."
