Ricky, a big THANK YOU for the heads-up on ya'lls cd.I got her in the mail yesterday, and listened from Dallas to Houston and back to Dallas.I think i would rather play steel for a living than drive a truck :\ Man,what a voice :D and that steel :D and that fiddle......it sure is a great feeling turning into a big fan of Miss Leslie and the juke jointers overnight.

To Ricky, Miss Leslie, and the gang,
Got my ***FREE*** CD today and have listened to it 3 times already - if there's a better deal around, I haven't found it. Thanks for the New Year's present. Traditional Honky Tonk country at its best - lots of tears on the jukebox, lost love, cheatin', whiskey and longnecks here. Great voice Miss L and killer steel guitar, Ricky. I'm off to get you some more fans. :D

Dear Mr. Davis and Miss Leslie,

I was very pleased to get your CD in the mail today, and I'm listening to it right now. Fine effort, and great steel. Miss Leslie's alto is strong and steady, with occasional pianissimo and lingering legato, and the fiddle and steel are pretty much exalted. And of course the price was agreeable too.

Best wishes for joy in your marriage and in your continued music. Thanks for the present to all of us, especially in your attitude that it's all about the music. You turned the tables on us all. :D
John

I received my CD two days ago and have listened to it a few times now.She has a very unique style to her singing which means that it is not one of those cookie cutter singers coming out of Nville. The walking standup bass is so country and refreshing to hear over the electric bass.Ricky's steel sounds so very sweet and smooth.I'm sharing the CD with my girlfriend tonight. You both are blessed with talent and I hope you keep on making great music together. Thanks for the CD so very much.

Hey Ricky and Leslie,

Congrats on the engagement. Here's hoping that you have a long and happy life together.

As for the album, AWESOME! It's been a long time since I've heard real country music on a new release. Keep it up, I promise that I'll tell everyone that I know about this great music.

Received Miss Leslie's CD and it is the best to come along in a long while. Good writing, great singing, the kind of flat out singing that I prefer, and a classic country band. A complete package. Thank you and best regards, Jay Thompson

Hi, Ricky and Miss Leslie
We got the CD yesterday, and it is "FANTASTIC"
Haven't heard anything that great for many years.
We need folks like you to make the Grand Ole Opry worth something again.
Leslie, you sure write nice songs, and sing them BEAUTIFUL and with FEELING.
Ricky, your steel playing is SO GOOD, some of it even sounds like JH.
Thank you so much, for giving us some true country music to enjoy again.
Thanks for sharing something so WONDERFUL with your friends.
Wish you both a WONDERFUL LIFE, and many years of success with your music.

Really ya'll; thank you so much for listening and the very nice words. That means so much to me and Leslie(and band).
Spread the word is the Key; otherwise Taylor Swift(who can't sing and can't write)will be the Icon of that they now call country music> that will be a shame.

Ricky -- I'm a little late in responding, but the music your guys are doing is so impressively keeping up with traditional country, but there's also something very fresh and new with how Miss Leslie sings. She sings with such brazen strength. And while you nail familiar-sounding steel licks, there are also many things you do I've never heard before, so, way to go!

I was so smitten I immediately bought the other two CDs.

Good luck with your new life, Ricky.
