Hello Herby,
My wife and I are glad you and yours got home okay from Gardendale.I put that CD on about 9 that night and listened to it.I've never heard anyone play better. We especially loved "Sing a sad song" and "You took her off my hands".Loved all the songs but those 2 are our favorites.Perfect touch tone and phrasing. If the creek don't rise we'll see you in Chattonooga. You may not remember me but you can't forget my wife. She was the real small one and we sat about 10 feet away from you.
[This message was edited by Grady Dodson on 13 February 2001 at 04:15 PM.]

I see that our good friend Mike Bagwell is on the schedule. He is one fine player as many of you know. I would guess that Mike will play one of his vintage Emmons push-pulls and that means he will have the best tone at the show! Mark it down!
Where else can you hear all these top pros and Jim Cohen too!

Frank, Mike is my future steel teacher. He's a great player. Brett Day, Emmons S-10

Brett, you are correct and you have picked a great teacher. I heard one of Mike's students play in one of the vendors booths at Carl's first Atlanta show. He was tough and told me Mike was his teacher.
Mike is a down-to-earth guy too. I hope all is going well for his dad who I met at the Knoxville show last year--a really nice guy as well.
It is only two weeks away!
