I see you`re playing with Mitchell Oglesby, I remember that guy from almost 10 years ago while we were pickin` in Vadelia, GA (sp?) . he was a local hero over there, we were playing at the Carrigans (sp?) , one of the most messed up clubs out there, owner told us if there is a certain number of people drinking in the bar after we play the last song we are hired, if not, he`ll fire us....LOL...oh boy, am I glad I don`t have to deal with those morons any longer, huh.. Will be traveling up into Texas Hill County to Campwood Texas...with Five Card Draw for a private gig. Pays well, and they are furnishing cabins on the Nueces River.

Hope everyone has a great NYE...and be safe.

I'll be at London Hall in London, Texas with Johnny Dickinson and the Big Country Band. We played there last year and had a good crowd and a great time. It's about a hundred miles from where I live, and I have to dodge a lot of deer coming home, but at least I have a gig. Smile

I'm going to put my Christmas present of a Nashville 112 through it's paces playing with The Silver Creek Band from 9 til 1 at The Grove in Poplar Grove, IL. We've been there the last three years and hopefully the new owner who takes over Jan 1 will like what he sees and have back us next year.

This may seem a little strange, but my group 'the Seekers' with my wife Dee on the Conga Drums & vocals, & our harmony singer Cherie, vocals, and me playing pedal steel & vocals with our tracks at the Goodwill Nursing & Rehab center in Grantsville Maryland. the gig starts at 1:30 pm, its not quite like the old New Years Gigs I played in the past, but for the folks at the Home its a lot of fun and a nice little trip into the past with the Seekers.

Best thing is, there won't be any booze!! Very Happy
