Hey Leo, you sure do bring back memories to me. I worked there a few times but mostly went to the jams. The first time I ever saw Loretta Lynn she was guest starring the and the house back was backing her and i'm not really sure but I think it might have been Vern Stovalls band, it's been so long ago, i know that Bobby George was there also and we got up and did a couple of songs. Buddy Cagle played bass for me at Georges Roundup#2 before, i can't remember if it was Wynn Stewart or Danny Michals left #1, anyway which ever George put buddy and band there. And you are correct he was the nicest gentleman and boy could he sing, especially Marty Robbins, thanks for the memories. db

Leo, you mentioned the Pat Evans recording on Redhill Records a few posts back. I produced that and played all the instruments for her. We used Clarke's Roland drum machine on it instead of a live drummer. Is she still in SoCal. When I left, she was hittin' it off with Dave Gant (later of Garth Brooks band) pretty good. I remember I didn't make much money on that session, sorta "took it out in trade" if you know what I mean!......JH in Va.

Hey Jerry,Pat moved back to her home town of Lubbock,Texas after she Divorce her old man Paul. Some things we shouldn't write about on this forum about another Musician knowing him or her personally life. In respect for Dave Gant as a good friend of mind as well as you(Jerry) brother. Some wifies don't have a good sense of humor if they read these things, stories out of school.Your Bro.Leo
