This is one of the funniest threads I have ever read!
This is a great show always, put on by a great guy, Charles Reese. Steve Gambrel is also a good helper so I understand.
This ariel view of the building reminds me of the time a couple of years ago that I had to dive my airplane on the building and throw out a plastic bottle of "used water" to get some one's attention in the building to pick me up at the airport. I saw Herby Wallace going in the building, I missed him, but he sent a few cars to the landing field.; Come to find out, Buddy had left me a new car there with the keys over the visor, wish he'd have told me! A really fun time was had by all,
A great show and wonderful perple, we lost Buddy, the shows founder, right after this but Charles Reece is doing a wonderful job, as always, and is soley responsible for saving this steel guitar institution. Do your part and be there yourself!
Just my two cents worth.

Thank you, Bobbe. Charles is still in the hospital, but Jerry's got things under control, and I'm delighted for the chance to help out.
Guy walks into a pet store, sees a parrot, says,"HEY, stupid, can you talk?"
Parrot says, "Yeah, dummy, can you fly???"
Glad your hand's getting better, Bobbe, and it was good to talk to you the other day. May God speed your healing.

Hey Steve, yes "ole" chord man will be there. Just got in from Atlanta and went to the morning church service at Church Of The Apostles. Tommy Dodd plays with the church orchestra...what a great service and music. Donna always looks great and now with her new hair style. Yes! Tommy said he hates to miss Saluda, but be assured his is in Church!!

Yes Indeed. I already have someone to take my Sunday school class amd to lead the singing.
I am still iffy about the Saturday night jam, but would like to come to that also....just have to get the planets to line up right, and see if the wife will give me another 5 spot. I don't mind begging.

I'm finally going to make it to Saluda. It only took about ten years. I'm looking forward to seeing Woodie Ledford and Johnny Thomas and my former Jersey buddies, Wayne Smith and John Swain. It'll be good to see Lanie's husband too, ole "whathisname".
