On one of the earlier threads about Patty's new album it was predicted that it would "get rave reviews but be totally ignored by corporate radio"... I'm happy to say that at least the first part about rave reviews has proven to be true (I suspect the second part about mainstream radio not playing it much will be true too though it's too early to know for sure).

Anyway here's a link to a site that collected reviews of the CD from different places, it adds up to "universal acclaim" for the album by their calculations. Score one for traditional country!

Dave, if you like Patty's "Crazy Arms", check out the Linda Ronstadt version circa 1972, they're very similar. Sneaky Pete plays gorgeous steel on that cut.

Ahh ... I though I had a memory of a ballad version of Crazy Arms, but just couldn't put my finger on it. I'll dig it up when I get back from Boston, I have most, if not all, of those old records.
