That thing reminds me of a corncob harmonica. By that I mean they make a harmonica that has I think six different harmonicas of different keys. It has what looks like those dohickies on the ends that you put on the ends of a ear of corn to hold on to. You can spin it around to different keys without changing harmonicas. I believe they are more for using in orchestras since it is impossible to cup and hold a bullet mic at the same time.
