But this thread is about RAINS STEEL GUITARS, and if I could play steel, I'd get one made just for an old ugly, has been cowboy, wanna be Telecaster picker.

Hey Gordon...just curious but that looks like my old Rains SD-10, 4+5...did you buy it from Brian S in CT.?? Miss that Rains if it is but saving up for a D-10 Rains...Love the RAINS STEELS!!

Hey Bill,

Yeah, I bought the Spirit Model from Brian, I sent it Gary and they updated it to the new specs at Rains, plays and sounds great.

I sent my 3 1/2 yr old Rains to Gary and got the updated changer and under caridge, and also had the new leather pad and fret board installed, It's like a whole new guitar. I though it was a great guitar before but it's even better now, and Gary is a great guy to deal with, i could'nt be happier. Thanks Gary

I got my BJS bar today; having a bit of tuition over Daves, Here's a picture of me, Rains and new BJS bar... (just left off from work so still have the work clothes on). Oh!, and what a difference the BJS makes to the tone!

Recommended !!
