Wynn Stewart, Lefty Frizzell, and Johnny Paycheck. Wynn taught them all on the west coast,Lefty influenced them all, still does, Paycheck taught George to sing and express. Thats why George paid for his funeral.Just some thoughts from an old country music lover. But maybe, its Jimmy Rodgers from Meridian Miss where I grew up and met them all. Almost every favorite that has been mentioned I met in Meridian. The thrills of my life have been meeting these great artists. The greatest thrill, meeting Jesus Christ as Lord.He don't play or sing, just loves us.
Blessed Abundantly,
Doc
