Curtis Nicely:
Hello, :D
Thank-you for your kind offer, I'll hold you to it!! But, I don't want to use up your generosity until I REALLY need it. And that day may come a whole lot quicker than you could imagine.
Thanks again, :)

Hello, :aside:
Didn't mean to ignore you!!

Scotties is 351 miles, Nashville Steel is 358 -- almost exactly the same. I'm just out in the boondocks!!
I've heard good things about Scotties though, but I've talked to Mr. Seymour and I believe either would be GREAT shops to trust.

Thank-you for your suggestion though.

I saw a few steels in a store in Hot Springs, Ark. when I was playing in that town. I don't recall whose store it was, but I'm surprised the name hasn't cropped up during this thread.

Isn't there a gentleman named Jerry Roller in Arkansas that sells and repairs guitars?

Andy Jones:
Hello, :)
Thanks, yes there is:
Because of your post -- I just searched this forums data bank -- and he is a member.
According to this forum's data bank, he lives in Van Buren, Arkansas ----And, he's been a member since April 17th 1999 --- the data bank lists him as a PSG and Dobro Instructor and PSG Tech.

Wonder if he repairs only for customers or if he buys and sells. I may make an effort to contact him, maybe tomorrow.

Thanks again!!!

Good Morning from the razorback state!
You are in France and have done business with Arkansas.... Thats amazing, how did you even find us on the map? Heck, our own important people have to use maps to find Arkansas.
There is a term used by USA-elites when referring to states in our area of the US --- our area is referred to as: "Fly Over States" --- meaning important people's jets just 'fly over' - with them going: "ain't no reason to land there - them people's to dumb to count."

Oh yes, there's been a couple of other comments made over the years too, but I won't go into them here, to new - I could get my rear kicked off the forum, and I can't have that, I just got on.
