Hey Randy...I was born in San Antonio and my parents moved to Corpus Christi when I was about 3 1/2 years old...that was 55 years ago, so I guess I'm a qualified Texan...traveled through the colder weather areas up north but still like the warmer climate of the south...I know Mickey will like it in the Big State of Texas...Brian

Well guys, I got the call to meet with my potential new employer this weekend in Albequerqe NM. Pending a smooth interview I should be off to Dallas in no time. In the meantime...If Dallas falls through it looks like I might wind up in Belize running a resort/dive shop, and flying the owners new jet..and an amphib/float plane aroud the islands. This one sounds a little more relaxing doesnt it? I might have to poll this one!...I cant thank you all enough for your comments and input.....Mickey

Mickey, I was glad to hear you might be moving to Dallas. After reading about your other opportunity, however, I'd have to say that sounds like a much better deal! You can add me to the list of applicants if you need an assistant down there! If you do end up down here, let me know. It would be great to see you again. I'm sure there's plenty of bands down here that could use a player like yourself, and I'd be happy to help you find one.

Well guys...The interview for the Dallas job went fairly well. After 2 hours of talking, he invited me to fly his plane up to Taos NM...So we did...Hes a very astute pilot...Very hard to impress...But we did OK, he asked me to name my price...Like asking you to put a gun to your own head ya know?.LOL...Havent quite decided what to do. Im thinking Id like to shuck all of it and go to Central America. Like music, aviation is a rat race...a guy can afford a 10 million dollar airplane....but cant seem to afford anything that will raise his pilot above upper poverty level...I want to do what I want to do...(Stomp stomp) and right now...thats spill everything I know into youtube and share it with the world...I get more respect and make more friends...real friends...And David...I consider you one of them....Peace!...Mickey
More coming...LOL..

Don't Sell that Vegas 400, best sounding amp I have heard. If you need help I have a ticket but started flying RC and liked it so much with the copitition quit flying big ones.
RC compatition was exciting got to fly with most all of the big names, one national flyer lived in Pensacola, and we were very good friends. Don Coleman lived close in Mobile we flew a lot.
Off subject I guess, Pray your move is a great advancement for you will continue to watch.

Mickey,
Good luck whatever you decide to do. When I joined the forum you were one of the first to welcome me and I really appreciated it. You've done a lot for us on the forum and I thank you.

By the way what is your website's url? I haven't been able to find it. Just seen your stuff posted on Youtube, which is great.

Mickey, one of my best friends built a house down there (Belize) having moved there last year. He loves it, and is hounding me to visit. Drop me a note if you care to. Without a doubt, you have a place to hang for a bit if you need. And if you need a right seat.......... :)

Dallas ?

First I wannt to thank each and every one of you for all of your posts, and especially your support.
I made the trip to Belize and decided not to take the position even though it was offered.
The Dallas company has scheduled my drug screening for tomorrow morning, so It looks like they are moving ahead with regards to employing me. I am really looking forward to leaving Vegas.
My schedule with the Dallas position will allow me more time to concentrate on my new steel website, and beginning a formal teaching routine.
I was floored to get a request to play the Phoenix show today....Unfortunately...It looks like I probably will have to decline due to the hectic atmoshere here.
I will hopefully (fingers crossed) be seeing and meeting all of you at the Dallas show..and I am really looking forward to that one, and making Dallas...(probably around Duncanville near the airport) home...Peace....Mickey
