Out of 31 posts, 14 have to do with Rhonda's looks, or sex appeal, or whatever you call it. Three have to do with Ray Benson.So that means that 14 posts refer to her talent. I guess that means she sells record with her looks. Now, there's nothing wrong with that, but after all the references I've seen on this Forum about "pretty-boy singers," or "navel-baring girls," in MAINSTREAM stuff, seems like a little double standard we've got working here.

Let me go on record by saying that yes, Rhonda is a very good looking lady. But, if she looked like the bottom side of stomped crap I'd still buy her records because she is one of the best bluegrass singers I've heard. I really enjoy her tunes.

Oh, I agree with you 100%, Gaylon. But there's a LOT of bluegrass girl singers out there, who don't take it to the extreme like Rhonda does.
We opened for Rhonda once, right after she'd fired her whole band. She was recruiting band members, and asked me, "Do you sing?"
I was the lead singer in our band...

Rhonda and the Rage are not to be missed on the circuit. They put on a great show. I get tired watching them work!

Rhonda had a reputation some years back for being a tough boss, and many a band member had been fired.

That's apparently all in the past - most of the guys she has in The Rage now have been with her for several years.

I have been a Rhonda Vincent fan for many many years. It was only within the last couple of years that I ever got a look at her. So, I was sold on her talent long before her looks. In fact, she could look like me and I would still like her in spite of that.

This CD just came out January 8th.

I think it may be her best yet!

The beautiful song mentioned is "I'm Not Over You," written by Carl Jackson and Melba Montgomery. Carl sang it on his award-winning CD: Spring Training. She is a marvellous performer. Personally, I'm waiting to see if Carl will be in Columbus this Summer fot the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer show.

I just got Rhonda's new CD (above) yesterday and may agree that it is her best yet.
Some of us act like we have never seen a pretty girl before......including me, sometimes, and for that I do apologize.

We've all seen pretty girls before but never one who

could play the mandolin and sing like Rhonda!

With all due respect, Hey.....we're men Ogling beautiful women and babbling about it is what we do best. Many a song and movie have been made about exactly that male trait/weakness.

I don't think anyone, including Rhonda, should be offended that we think she's an attractive female as well as a talented artist.

I own one of her old "country" lps. One song that cracks me up is "We Should Be Together But We're Not". Rhonda has come a long way since that lp!

Woodsongs has some awesome shows! I have all of RV's cd's and just bought and listened to her Christmas album. You can hear her sing some great non-bluegrass stuff on it as well as traditional bluegrass. The musicians are 1st rate and there is very little of the dreaded studio compression. It sounds as good as a vinyl LP!.

Her DVD is just awesome. She's got 3 fiddles in some parts of it and even a full bluegrass string section with guest pickers. This captures the essence of her live shows. It also has an extra showing her around her home town and with her family. One of the best DVD's I've ever bought, right up there with the AATW DVD.

She is a class act. I have seen her many time and had the peasure of talking with Rhonda and most of the Ragers. I have always found she is a lady and is as nice on the outside as the inside. Kenny Ingram is one of my favorite bluegrass pickers and Hunter is one of the best fiddlers I have ever heard. If she is any where near youR area be sure you see her show. PS HER HUSBAND IS A GREAT GUY ALSO.

I have been watchin 'Master Series" on GAC this morning and they are featuring Rhonda. EVERY video I've seenm she has had a different color of hair!

I wish she'd stop that--I thought for 20 minutes that I fell in love with five different women.
