Bobbe this guitar would not be made by Barney M, would it.
The cassett you gave me in Birmingham is about worn out, it is in my Van player and it plays every time
the van moves.??? what tuning, amp guitar.
It has Orange Blossom, Jelous Heart.Columbus stockaid Blues.
I wil never tire of hearing this one, thanks a million.
Payback for the Bigsby CD I sent, and album.

Debra and I are looking forward to the show this weekend in Lakeland. We will certainly be missing John Hughey :( but look forward to paying tribute to him.

Re-Bobbe Seymour

Post by Will Aytes »

Just got a call from Haywood saying that Bobbe was at the doctor as we spoke with heart concerns. Bobbe is wanting to fly his own plane to Lakeland Lender Field and Haywood pick him up. Haywood is waiting for word from Bobbe. If Bobbe can not come, then Joe Wright will be conducting the seminar.

I ask Haywood to please post here for the latest update on Bobbe's condition and as to his arrival in Florida.

Hope you are OK Bobbe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just keeping everyone informed

Sure to hate to hear that Bobbe may be feeling under the weather. Sure hope to hear some good news regarding his Doctor visit.

Sounds like you folks in Florida are going to have a great show this year. We had Bobbe with us last year, and it was a blast. We were hoping to have him back again this year.

I'm sure hoping he's OK. Maybe if the doc won't clear him to do his own flying, he can hop a flight to Tampa and still make it. It won't be the same without him. I was going to talk business with him while he was here too. I'll still be at the show, no matter what.

Latest from Bobbe

Bobbe unfortunately cannot make the show. Here's what he emailed us to the hotel:

"With great disappointment, pain, aggravation and sickness, I regret not being able to fulfill my commitment and take advantage of the fun I knew I'd have in beautiful, warm Florida. I had been looking forward to seeing Haywood and my many great friends in Florida for several years. This was my chance and health reasons are preventing me from straying far from the house at the moment. My health, as most of you will want to know, should be nothing to worry about in a month or two. My heart condition is being treated with more pills, a change of diet and a direct order for more bedrest. Unfortunately this means that I can't do one of the things I love most in life, that is flying because of a six month suspension for health reasons. On top of these ongoing heart problems, I had gotten a good dose of the flu and medicines that they gave me for this interfered with the heart medicine. So here I am wishing I could see all my great friends in Florida, staring at the walls and my laptop computer. Love and miss you all and want to see each and every one of you somewhere in the near future."

I have some. They aren't very good quality, but I'm going to post them. I might get them up on my photo web page tonight. If so, I'll post a link to them. The lighting wasn't very good, and I only took my small point & shoot camera, so the flash didn't work so well. There were some other folks taking pics too, so maybe they have some better than mine - I hope.

Hey friends,

Just wanted to chime in and say how much fun we had in Florida last weekend. This was my first time at Haywood's show, and he and Deg'er, and everyone else made Cindy and me feel like family. Who knows, maybe we'll get to do it again.

The regulars in the staff band (Royce and Jim) were a real pleasure to work with. Wayne and I felt like we had been with them forever.

Joe, Bob, Ollie, Chet and all the other steelers really made the show something special. Sorry Bob, I know you had your hands full trying to turn this hillbilly into a jazz drummer.

All in all, a real good show for a really great cause. Thanks for letting me be a small part.

See ya soon,
Jim

Bob - Thanks. Great playing. That's the first time I've heard you, and I hope it's not the last. That old 'Bud sure sounded great. That keyless conversion was interesting.

Jim - Nice job. Hope to see you back next year.
