Sonny ! I'd love to see that, or at least hear it. It'd be great if SteelRadio.Com could broadcast it. Hmmm, I wonder if they could ? Sonny, is anyone broadcasting that event ?

Ken,,I have no idea,,,I would doubt it. It's a fairly frequent occurrance around here,,,he plays around here regularly,,,I live between San Antonio and Austin and like I've said before, the number of "world class" steel players,,,and musicians in general is amazing.

Also Saturday night at the fair here will be Billy Mata with my buddy Roger Edgington playing some outstanding steel. Billy's band plays a LOT of traditional Texas swing,,,I think he is a member of Texas HOF,,,and I think they were western swing band of the year last year,,,GREAT band!! I feel VERY fortunate to live in this area. Also we have these little "oprys" somewhere within driving distance 2-3 times a week,,,and these great performers can be seen pretty often.
