I spoke to the moron today. He told me that he intends to make up for his lack of talent with an increase in volume >:-). WAYNE SMITH, where are you???

Less than a week. Rob Parker and I may have a trick up our sleeve. Let's just say the guy that recorded the song won't play it live! We may find out why!!!!

I'll keep the moron in the cage, Wayne---MAN, I can't tolerate that dude :x .

ON A SERIOUS NOTE----
Most of y'all who've been to Saluda in August know how hot it gets, and how strained the A/C units get. We ask that, if you bring a camper, motor home, or other RV, PLEASE run your A/C's, etc., off your generator. This will keep the power on all day Sunday(we hope!!)We're close to overloading the building as it is, and we want everybody inside to be comfortable for the entire show!

This is gonna be a good'un! Everybody but Vern has got to buy me a hot dog. (Vern has to buy me TWO!)
Please come out, support the Shriners' Hospitals, and listen to some of the best country music, played by some of the best pickers, you'll ever hear.

David, you'll find out Saturday night, if Wayne doesn't show. Try not to get too close to the moron, though---He don't take to people he don't know.

I would love to come down this weekend, sounds like its going to be a great time. Jim's Sunday morning breakfast (and maybe Hartley Burgers) and great pickers sure is tempting. Got to figure out how to not do this day gig thing. It really gets in the way. Looks like Wayne is going to be there so you're covered very well as far as bass goes. By the way - Hi Wayne!

Plus if Chuck Campbell is there I wouldn't what to mess him up again

It's been a bit since I've been down to Saluda to see my little (big) buddy Steve, and the other great folks. As fate would have it we have a gig this Saturday night which gets us home a bit late but I am going to try to make the trip down from Charlotte Sunday AM anyway, maybe not to play but at least to get a Hot Dog !

Still remembering Buddy Walker, I barely knew him but he always made me feel like I was family...
