You guys gonna have HOT DOGS???? Boy, I'm gonna try my best to make it! Can somebody give me directions?
Steve - I've told you time and time again. You take 85 south to Atlanta and turn Left! Geeze!
However, if you go to the GaSGA website under EVENTS, I have detailed directions at the bottom of the page. :D

We hope you can make it!!

Last year, Larry told me to go to I-285 & take a right and stay on it til it ends! (Don't follow those directions; I think he was trying to tell me something!)

Steve, those directions are totally bogus. You have to take a LEFT on on I-285!!!

If you're not here, you're going to miss a good one.

A whole bunch of great steel players AND as good a staff band you could ask for. Johnny Thomas and Woody Ledford on guitar, Jim Hartley and Wayne Stowers on drums, Wayne Smith on bass.

THE consummate steel player's singer, Rob Parker, will be here.

AND, its all for a good cause, Larry and Yvonne.

One week from today! We're gonna have a great time doing this, not only for the music and fellowship, but to help one of our musical families as well. So much needs to be said for all of the people involved in putting this together, the pro players that are donating their talents and the vendors who are donating items for the raffle and auction. Theses people are showing the world where their heart is. "Thank you" doesn't seem to be profound enough.

Roger, right you are about the folks that are helping put this show together "for all the right reasons". I am very fortunate to get to play on some of the major shows and always look forward to having a large crowd to play for. But, I especially hope we have an exceptionally big crowd for the other reason... helping a friend in need, at the time they need it. I hope all our friends from the surrounding states know how much we enjoy traveling to their shows and support their organizations. Please try your best to attend this one here in Atlanta. It will surely be appreciated and the music will be fantastic. As my little buddy Bret likes to say, it is going to be "amazing".

ONE LAST APPEAL: Our raffle is going to be great but we still would like to make it even better. When you come to the show this Sunday, please consider bringing a door prize to add to our STEEL GUITAR SURVIVAL KITS to be raffled off. Here are some suggestions: CDs or DVDs, Wal-Mart Gift Card, or Longhorn or Red Lobster Gift Card, if you are at Home Depot you can pick up one or two of those real neat little micro flash lights, a set of nice head phones, or you can go to your local music store and get strings or picks. In fact, ask them to DONATE them.
THE AUCTION: Remember also that we will action off a Peavey Envoy amp compliments of Bobby Semour, a luxury steel guitar seat compliments of www.steelseat.com, and a Taylor guitar, with all the proceeds going directly to help the Moore's off set some of their enormous medial bills.
THANKS SO MUCH to all who have donated thus far, and to those who will be bringing goodies the day of the show. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at sgeis2000@netzero.com.
