Mike Shefrin wrote:Thanks alot for all your nice replies guys. This guitar is really somethin' else. Owing to the fact that there is such minimal pedal travel on this steel, I am now able to execute passages with considerably greater ease than I was able to previously negotiate on my old Emmons guitar. My playing has absolutely improved in a huge way. The tone of this guitar is also stunning. I did a recording test comparing the Emmons with the Mullen and both sounded good but to my ears the Mullen won hands down. Having this thing makes me want to play and practice all the time. The guitar looks gorgeous, sounds beautiful, and is easy to play, and that's all anyone could ask for in a guitar.

Ding, Ding, Ding. That my friend is what a Mullen is all about. I am glad you got your guitar safely. I have been saying this for years and I know that everyone has an opinion about the tone, but I agree 100% Mike, the Mullen has always won our sound tests here. And believe me we have done lots of comparing. We try and build a guitar a step above and I love to hear when others agree. I have had sooo many people tell me the same thing about their playing, when the guitar works as good as yours does, then the playing improves by leaps and bounds, I have even heard this from many Professionals who have and do play our guitars. Congratulations.

Let's see now. You've got a brand new Mullen steel guitar and a new Evans amplifier. No blaming your equipment if you don't sound good!
