Jeff - same seller for both those Steelmasters. Jeff McCurry. A very cool guy, he can fix busted Stringmaster tuners!

Well, Herb phoned me today. My new T8 is being painted, now that it's stopped raining in Houston. He says I should have it in time for New Year's Eve. Image This is going to be a very special guitar!

I had sent him a copy of my last CD and he said he liked it! He said I should have played more steel on it though. High praise and good advice. My new CD is about halfway done and it will have a lot more steel on it. I plan to use the new Steelmaster T8 on a lot of the tracks . . .

Herb's "Steeling Dreams", "Steeling Memories", and "Steeling Love" CDs contain some of the best music I've ever heard. He was a smokin' steeler in the 40s and he just keeps getting better. The band is the best. These 3 CDs are a must have for any steeler or steel fan, no matter what kind of music you prefer.

Well, I spoke with Herb again today and he tells me the T8 Steelmaster is completely built now and all he has left to do is put on the logo and string it up.

He says he will ship it on Friday . .

Herb called today and told me it's all packed up and he's shipping it tomorrow - my birthday! It won't be here till Monday, but that's close enough - I'll probably still be celebrating . .
[This message was edited by Rick Alexander on 02 February 2005 at 07:49 PM.]
