Bobby, Thank you, and it was my pleasure and good fortune to have played along with you and the Hall Of Fame band, both back in 1988 and at the ISGHOF induction when you saved me as my guitar was out of tune. I will never ever forget that. Take care and maybe someday. I will once again get to Saint Louis to play along with the great musician that you are.

My Best to you as always

Jody. PS luv ya too guy.

And Finally as the Frets Of My Life close in on me at age 77 as I feel the hoof beats of that old outlaw TIME, I leave with the Lyric's penned by the great composer Paul Anka and recorded by my idol Francis Albert Sinatra. The Lyrics Say it all.

And I pray that the Light Of God Shine upon all of you. Goodbye

I am on my way to the hospital, and I want to add this final post for those of you who are and have been my friends. When the Book is ready to ship. I will post again but for that alone. My co writer...
whom you all know, will share these memories with me, he wishes me not to mention his name and I agree.

For what is a man- what has he got?
If not himself, then he has not
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows- I took my blows
And did it my way!!!!

Marty, thank you for your uplifting words, however much credit should be given to Johnny Cucci, and Augie Lamonte, and George Nida, it was those three who took me under their wings and really helped me through the Hot Club Of America. I was the weak link in the group. And thanks to Dave Van Allen and Mike Gross for getting me the incentive to put that cd on the market.

I miss them and would give anything to turn back the clock to be with them once again.

Be well my friend.

Edited Yes, and for good reason, I will be meeting with Donald D.Randall to discuss my repping a new line of amps and I will visit Don sometime in April. I will try to relocate on the West Coast Where the Greatest Steel Players are.

So this is my second edit so what!!!! There a a few who have commented that I post to see my name in lights. I have had my name in lights for years, every theatre on the Great White Way
has had my name over the door that said, "Mens Room"

Make the Third Edit, Good things come in three's.

Love is Lovlier The Second Time Around, however I first worked for Don with Fender and then With Randall amps and Now this.

I have said that I wouldn't post again unless it was something important, well, that is important to me. I have in the last week or so had email and phone calls from my buddy Rick Alexander trying to solve a problem with the server and people who take care of Rick's website. Many email were exchanged between Rick and these technicians who couldn't help and finally this morning, I received an emai from Rick telling me all has be resolved. If you go to this website of Rick's www.jodycarver.com and click on to photographs and scroll to the end you will see my late wife Marilyn and my friend whom I tried so hard to get back on this website, please welcome my buddy and good friend

ROCKABILLY BILL.

Thank you Rick for all you have done for myself and my family, Bill belongs with my family because he is just that to me. :D

I don't mean to be rude, but the duplication of existing posts without additional, meaningful content simply bloats the Forum database, slowing down keyword searches and the like.

Computers are not infinite resources. We saw how the old Forum software collapsed under its own weight. I'm sure this system will survive for a long time, but I'd rather fill the search tables with new posts than add the old ones over and over.
