That's a true statement, Alan.
But, I've had an attitude adjustment toward NOTHING.
Formerly, I believed there was "nothing" and everything else was in the category of "something".
Now, I believe there is nothing and nothing else.

A song about nothing made a lot of money, peaked at number one and won the Grammy for the Best Rock Performance in 1985.
"Money for Nothing" was a song recorded by British group Dire Straits,
The following are the lyrics. What do you think?
Money for Nothing
Now look at them yo-yo's that's the way you do it
You play the guitar on the MTV
That ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Money for nothin' and chicks for free
Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Lemme tell ya them guys ain't dumb
Maybe get a blister on your little finger
Maybe get a blister on your thumb
We gotta install microwave ovens
Custom kitchen deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's
See the little faggot with the earring and the makeup
Yeah buddy that's his own hair
That little faggot got his own jet airplane
That little faggot he's a millionaire
We gotta install microwave ovesns
Custom kitchens deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's
I shoulda learned to play the guitar
I shoulda learned to play them drums
Look at that mama, she got it stickin' in the camera
Man we could have some fun
And he's up there, what's that? Hawaiian noises?
Bangin' on the bongoes like a chimpanzee
That ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Get your money for nothin' get your chicks for free
We gotta install microwave ovens
Custom kitchen deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's, Lord
Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it
You play the guitar on the MTV
That ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Money for nothin' and your chicks for free
Money for nothin' and chicks for free

This will be reply number 2222 !! I like those occurances but some folks think NOTHING of it...
And with another 178 views it will be 77777...

Then it was the 2nd 1111th reply, or the 202nd 11th reply, etc. All that makes mine the 2224th reply. Technically though, it would have to be the 2223rd reply, since the first posting cannot be a reply as
nothing had been posted at the time.
Or should I say
nothing hadn't been posted at the time of the initial posting.
It's starting to look like the old corollary of when time began, and what existed before time began, and how can anything come out of
nothing.

You know, for a long time, I thought this was the longest forum thread in existence, at least about nothing, but I was looking on a different forum, and someone started a thread titled "Last person to post wins!" or something like that. If I remember correctly, it had over 700 pages, and the sad thing is, it had less content than this thread. So we don't even have the longest thread about Nothing either.

Yes, but there's a difference. This thread is
about nothing, and in its postings are discussions of
every aspect of nothing. The other thread doesn't discuss nothing as a
subject, in all of its meanings and inferences.
