Dave,I will as soon as I am able. I'm in New York at present with my youngest daughter Lorrie. I will do as you asked as soon as I return home to Pennsylvania.
Take care of yourself. Dave, you refer to continueing the story of the Hot Club I assume? Yes we can do that with no conflict to the Fender story with co writer Sandy Miller and with Rick's blessings.
[This message was edited by Jody Carver on 21 December 2006 at 06:07 PM.]

The Last Fender Guitar, depends on my co writer
I'm unable to do this on my own. Sandy has presented me with a hand held "Olympic" sound activated tape recorder which will speed things up. Dave, this will help me with your request as well. edited for spelling.

Now that we have traveled west, with Rick and Herb and Cathe, get on board and head for the tropical adventure of Cancun Mexico, where Sandy Miller finishes up a successful week at Pancho and Willy's doing her great tunes from her cd, "Sands Of A Time Gone By". Sandy's showmanship is something to behold as she does tunes from her cd. Featured songs are "You Belong To Me" from the pen of the great Redd Stewart co writer of Tennessee Waltz and to see Sandy in action is a treat, she is a GREAT showman. Her version of "Maybe This Time" is another great tune, Go Gal go
Merry Christmas to all of you from Cancun edited to wish those of the Jewish faith a Happy Healthy Chanukah

Jody My Friend Lou Messana who is a great guitar player was in Cancun and saw Sandy Miller singing in a club. He told me She sings great. She mentioned your name & he was surprized she knew you. I think You & Lou & Sandy Could Make a good Western swing recording Because lou & you have the Same Style like Speedy West & Jimmy Bryant.Sandy Could do the singing Like Kay Star. Bring Back some real music We Need It.

Hank, Sandy can sing anything, from classic to country, she yodels great. She does a yodel like the late Rosalie Allen and Patsy Montana. Hank don't feel bad about duplicating your post's I do that often and so do others on this Forum, just dont go off topic into baseball even though I'm a Dodger fan. Rick has started a great website here and he deserves some credit.Tell Lou I'm ready when ever he is. ***
[This message was edited by Jody Carver on 22 December 2006 at 07:20 PM.]

Jody , Remember when you were at my house on Long Island in 1988 You were overdubbing the steel on Little Red wagon. Then i handed you a Kareoke Disc With a song called Cause We Ended As Lovers. you played along with that & i swear it was the greatest Steel playing i ever heard. It was a complete difference from the Doo Waw style you usually play.I think you should record that at my son Johns house . i am shure you would have another hit on your hands all over again just like the Hot Club Of America.

Hank, of course I remember, but since I play the style that I do, I didnt think anyone would like it as my main interest is in bar slamming and doo wah's I never play it because it brings back memories of Marilyn she too thought it was one of my best efforts, maybe we can get together if I can have someone watch my pups and drive down to Long Island and work on a few western swing things with you..Keep in touch and maybe after the holidays we can get together, right now the weather in Pennsylvania is freezing rain, keep in touch and call me when you can, I'll be at my daughter Marie's house for Christmas. Merry Christmas And give my best to Lou, and give Lou my home phone number,I changed my e mail address and I'll send it to you and we can spend hours to reminisce(sp?) about those good old days .Stay in touch. Happy New Year and I hope this year brings all of us and the members of this Forum good health. Later
my friend.PS maybe I can bring my future son in law Dan Carey with me, he's an amatuer guitar player, but he writes good tunes and can carry my Musicman amp.
edited for spelling ***PS Watch for my book if and when I have it, I'll send you a copy of "The Last Fender Guitar" There will never be another "LEO FENDER"

The Last Fender Guitar is a bit late, We should have this ready sometime in the spring. This is due to getting clearance from Fender's legal department etc. Be patient. you have been since 2001, but I can assure you, it will be worth the wait.My partner is working on it as fast as can be, be it as it may, it takes time.
