I'm finding that the shapes don't change the timing much but nevertheless add some change and interest.

Thanks for that link, Doug. Am enjoying hearing him all over again - especially without the King Sisters in the way - as I haven't really listened to him in decades. Required listening for all steel guitarists, IMHO.
