I have nothing to add.

...and you probably have nothing to subtract, divide or multiply, either. In any case, it doesn't matter, because you'll usually end up with NOTHING.

The right hand giveth and the left hand taketh away and then there's nothing.
Alan, your algebraic explanation reveals how all of these little math mind-benders work.
nothing is gonna make me.
Try attitude adjustment. :D
I am told there's NOTHING like spending a little time in the brig, Pvt. Sevigny.

Well, here's another little brain teaser.

Let x=1

Therefore x²-1 = x²-x

Factorizing both sides...
(x+1)(x-1) = x(x-1)

Dividing both sides by (x-1)...
x+1 = x

Deducting x from both sides...
1 = 0

So, now you know, nothing isn't nothing, it's equal to one.

I spent all of my U.S. Army time at the Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff.
No kidding __ it was like an extended paid vacation.

BTW Rich, invite me up to B.C. sometimes, I'd like to see some of those salmon with arms. ;-)

Alan, I believe that's the way Blackstone learned to pull rabbits out of hats.
He worked it out mathematically first.

In the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", a group of scientists got together to prove mathematically that it was impossible that the Infinite Improbability Drive did not exist. Once they had proven the impossibility of its nonexistence, the machine automatically came into being.

Is it possible to think of Nothing? Try real hard because nothing is impossible to those who believe!

Also think about nothing real deeply and see what you get?

Aloha, :)

At one time I didn't believe it was possible; but since I've seen the LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) drop-out rate,
the self-inflicted and contagious ADD might have made it highly probable.

Yes, that's the moment you go unconscious. But remember, that even if our conscious mind stops, our unconscious mind has to continue in order to keep our hearts beating, our blood and nymph circulating, and our lungs breathing. When our unconscious mind stops we die. Then....
NOTHING, FOR ETERNITY. :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

..."juxt" like you to say something like that, Arch.
But, I'm glad you got it off your chest.

Nothing, could be more backbreaking than to carry a burden around like that all of the time,
