Bars are heat treated, headiong to centerless grinding, it will take two days on the truck-line, I'll contact centerless grinding and see what their schedule is and keep you posted, they will come back to me when finished and the polishing and buffing will have to be done by me, then off to Industrial Hard Chroming. So everyone hang in there, it's getting closer to being completed.
Hang on........

Bill,
I got your e mail last week. I too would like an 8 string, light weight John Hughey bar, yet it wasn't listed.
Dims 3" x 15/16" w/ birth stone.
What is the length of your 10 string bar?
Please e mail with cost, time factor.
Thank you

Hi Patrick,
The length of the 10 string is 3 3/8"long.
Email me at bjsbars@frontiernet.net
I should get the bars back from centerless by Monday of next week. Polishing & Buffing and Industrial Hard Chroming follows that, we're looking around the first or second week in August. Sooner if I can, but I will personally deliver these bars to Industrial Hard Chroming 500 miles away after I polish them.
Hangon everyone, I'm pushing as hard as I can.

Guys these are some of the best bars yet, so far I'm pleased with everything that's been done, and I'm very picky....
Heat Treat is great, centerless grinding is the best that I've ever had done. The guy called me when I was unloading them off the truck, and ask me to open the boxes and and tell him what I thought, I said what did you do different, they look great, he said that he did a little extra for me, and boy did he ever. This is just one of the things that is done to these bars to make them the way they should be made.
Shirley is filling out the shipping labels with your name and address on them, waiting for them to be finished and she will put them in the box and off to the guys and gals that has their form in.
No checks, money orders or credit cards will be deposit until they are in the box and ready for her to ship them out. So if you're waiting until they are completed that's fine, but the received orders will be processed first.
Thanks to all that uses the BJS Bars.

Well good news, 320 bars are going to Industrial Hard Chroming Monday morning, I should have them back the following Monday.
So all received orders will be filled and shipped the first week of August.
Thanks to all for your patience.
Bill

Let me clearify a couple of things:
(1) I've got calls asking what is a plain nose bar? Answer, it means no Birthstone in the tip end of the bar.
(2) The Birthstone bar is a stone set in the tip of the bar for the month you where born, for instance if you were born in September the stone would be a Sapphire (Blue color) or any color you choose for a different Month. I've had guys that don't like the month color that they were born in, and choose a red stone, that's ok whatever you want.

The regular solid bars are now in stock if some of you dealers are needing any let me know.
The reason I'm posting is I have guys calling and the dealers are telling them we are out of stock. Just to update everyone.
