Rest in Peace Buddy
I am sure glad that I have had the oportunity to meet and hear Buddy play on several occasions, he was sure one of the greats & we will all miss him

I had occasion to work a job in a band backing Jack Greene a couple weeks ago.
Jack is having severe memory problems.
While backstage I mentioned to him that I took lessons ffrom a guy that was in ET's band the same time he was. His "manager" was kind of "minding him". (It was not the best of relatinships from what I could see, and she said "Don't get into a lot of details.." Anyhow, I was just honored to talk to him for a few sentences.. I told him it was Buddy Charleton.
Jack said, "Oh yeah, He's a GREAT guy".
I thought for a second and answered back.
"Yes he is."
He still gives me that "kindly worried look" whenever I'm playing gigs.
He's a GREAT guy.
