Yes you're right. It's no big money case. That's what's so ironic. I get this vision of "Mr. and Mrs. World's Greatest Steel Guitar Co." asking a mirror "Who builds the greatest guitar?

The answers they receive are...
Of course, you're the greatest!
Those forum people don't matter!

Sad part is that I love my old push/pull and even though they can make a great guitar, I don't think they can remain serious contenders. It appears the "Good Will" went "Good-Bye".

Well Dec 29th has come and gone and still no response from the Emmons people ! I had a talk with my Attorney today and we are getting together to get the game face on ! This is the last thing that i wanted to do but they leave me no other recourse . When you see they are still building guitars for others and totally ignore your questions and refuse to get things resolved this is what happens . Thanks to all for your support in this . I am asking b0b to close this thread because at this time it won't make any difference either way to keep it open . The whole world has seen their way of doing business and i hope it speaks to everyone . I would appreciate it if everyone that made a comment would e-mail me and i want to thank you personally . I will let everyone know shortly whats going on . Thanks again and best regards , Gary .

Gary,
You have been more than patient with those people, it says alot for their customer service, shich has dwindled down to nothing these days. And i'm not just talking about the Emmons guitar co.I'm talking about business in general. I can still recall when I was younger(just out of highschool) in the business world, people want a product or service. it was was my job to deliver that product or service that they would need. And if they had needed any help with that product or service I would give it to them and at the end I would say thank you. The most important word of all.I guess what I am trying to say is that, people in business just don't care any more. once they make a sale, that's it, finished. I mean it's not like how it used to be. You have to do what you have to do. You have given these people more than enough time to fix the problem. But through their own negligence, you had to suffer. I hope this matter can be resolved.
Happy New Year!

Gary
I was sure Emmons would have contacted
you by now. I wish you the very best
as you go into the legal process.

I'll be in touch with you via email.

I hate to say this, but Gary, why did you order an Emmons? Everything bad that can be said on this Forum has been said about Emmons, the threads have lasted for pages, and what has posting here brought you? Advice from a bunch of outhouse lawyers, and a bunch of bad press for Emmons. They've only recently joined the Forum, and they're having problems. Just like I am! Now, you've hired a lawyer---do you have any kind of proof that Emmons was moving you to the back of the line? And if they don't have the money to build your steel, then what will you gain from a lawsuit?
When I get back on my feet, I'm gonna buy a new steel. And it'll say "Emmons" on the front!

Stephen asked:
then what will you gain from a lawsuit?
Stephen, all he wants is what he paid for. His money is in their pockets. He has nothing for his hard-earned money.

Stephen, When you order your Emmons, make sure you send them all of the money when they tell you it's done. Make sure you drive to the factory and watch them put it together. If it's defective and you have to send it back, and they don't even have the common courtesy to answer your calls or emails. Tell us how you feel.... I expect it will be just like Gary feels right now.

I doubt if Gary feels he has gained anything... But Emmons now has a new faithful customer.

Gary, look at the bright side... At least Lashley Inc. can't complain that you hurt their business.

BTW, I'm just another "outhouse lawyer" trying to help a fellow steeler get what he paid for.

This thread and the one that preceded it have only caused a larger rift between Lashley and Gary.
It aired some dirty laundry that we all knew has existed for sometime but was kept quiet for many reasons.
Gary is still without his new steel.
I hope you get your money back Gary but... I don't see a happy ending in the future.

And what have you done, other than add your name to the list of complainants? Have you called Burlington? Have you talked to the Lashleys? Face it, this is between the Lashleys, and Gary Preston. NONE of the rest of us has any business here.

I said I was gonna stay off the Forum, I should have kept my word to myself.
