Beside the lap steel and collecting LP records I also collected farm toys for 41 years, sold them and started over collecting more toys. You can take the boy away from the farm but you can't take the farm away from the boy.

Earlier this year I returned to a previous hobby which never actually left the building , but went idle for maybe a decade. Military Models, 1/35 scale
Many years back I built Corvette Models on consignment for 'Vette Club " members but I've always had a strong interest in WW-I and WW-II History , including the vehicles.
I've always had a stored inventory of kits and lately I have added to that inventory. I have put back together my "work station" and each day spend time building, it can be 5 or 10 min here or there.
Here is one of the latest builds , WW-II German Styr Field Tractor. Its a very relaxing time away from " everything". Typically its my early morning time.
And don't worry, I still practice regularly and gig near every week .

Chuck, I have always been intrigued with small oil wells. Every time I drive by one I'm like to understand more about the whole process. So your well has been producing since 1900?

Nice '69, Tony! I would imagine you had quite a demand for models of that quality.
