That's a fine looking guitar for sure....but I'm equally impressed by Jody's "flat" stomach after all these years. All of us should be so fortunate!

Well thank you Gene.
If I had stayed at Sandy's and had more of that fantastic home made food, my tummy wouldn't be so flat.
Thank you, all of you, and especially to my friends Richard and Sandy. They have a gorgeous home and are wonderful people.

Thank you Gene. However my "flat" stomach wouldnt be so flat if I had spent another few days at Sandy Miller's home, boy can she cook up a storm WOW
Thank you Loni for the great photos of Sandy and myself and of course your fine steel guitar. My best to your mom and dad.

Jody - looking good, buddy!
Is that your bar or Loni's in the pic?

Hi Rick
Sorry not to have responded sooner, but I have been off the pc due to a bad cough and a touch of the flu. Your question?? That was Loni's bar not mine. I had a great time and look out,I'm going to see you next. My cough was helped much by home made chicken soup prepared by Sandy which is often referred to as "Jewish Penicillin".
I'll be in touch buddy. Thank you. edited to add "wait there's more"."Matzoh Balls Home Made by Sandy. I had a wonderful time and Memories that will last Forever.

I hope you are much better by now Jody. Your post above reminded me of my childhood in Southwestern Oklahoma more than 70 years ago, where my mother also relied on the "chicken soup" treatment for flue and colds, supplemented by a wool cloth on the chest saturated in Vicks VaPor-Rub.
With all of today's advances in medicine, it's interesting and revealing to note that the average lifespan of those in the past were not much different than those of today.
Hooray for our ancesters and their knowledge of such healing powers as chicken soup!

Thank you Gene.
Yes Chicken soup heals whatever ails you. I should have titled Sandy's CD as "Soup Of A Time Gone By.
not only is Sandy a great cook, but a wonderful human being.
If you need some "great soup" let me know and
I will have Sandy ship you a quart.
Thank you for the compliment I'm certain Sandy will appreciate your comments. I do feel much better.
Take care Cowboy. My best To Charlotte.
edited to add "wait there's more". Matzoh Balls optional.

Thanks Rick
It was Mrs. Charlotte Spector, Loni's mom that made this possible. Mrs Spector is a former employee at Warner Brothers Studios. Last
but not least, my buddy Rick for posting these photo's.It was Sandy who did all the photography. More to come. Thanks to all of you.
Edited to say these are the finest human being's and the best friends in my life. Loni, thank you as well, You have a great guitar and I look forward to seeing you again and having a chance to put it through it's paces.
As I have said before and stated "it is second to none in non pedal steel guitars. I think the natural "oil" finish is super.Thank you. PS your Lollar pickup sounded fantastic.

If I were able, I would relocate out West where the real cowboys are and ride em cowboy and enjoy
the wide open spaces and the sound of Steel Guitars. Ya never know, my house is going on the market and I'm heading West.
You bet.

I am contemplating a move to Florida. I would
get together with Rick Alexander and do a studio and retail operation. Makes a bit more sense than going out to the West Coast.
See You soon Rick my man. Retail Studio and recording studio and you can't beat that.

Jody, I have the perfect place for the operation. An ideal location has just become available with has plenty of space and amenities. The only possible downside is the view, because it's on the Boardwalk of Hollywood Beach. So unfortunately there is a stream of hot bikini babes parading by constantly, which might prove to be a distraction.
Please advise if I should procede with the deal.
[This message was edited by Rick Alexander on 02 March 2006 at 02:20 PM.]
